Get peer support with one of our Certified Ostomy Visitors
Need support with your ileostomy, colostomy, or urostomy? Connect with a Certified Ostomy Visitor who understands what you are going through and can offer personal, practical support before surgery, after surgery, or both. Visits are available in person, by phone, or online.
Whether you have a few questions, want to talk through a concern, or simply need reassurance from someone who has been there, a Certified Ostomy Visitor can help you feel more prepared, informed, and supported.
Your visitor is part of your rehabilitation team, working alongside your physician, nurse, NSWOC, and other supports to help you move forward with confidence.
Trained visitors are at the heart of the organization. They come from many backgrounds, ages, and life experiences, but they share one powerful connection: each has had ostomy surgery and now lives a full, active, and meaningful life.
We do our best to match visitors by age, gender, and type of surgery so the conversation feels comfortable and relevant. Just ask to be connected.
To arrange a visit, call Visiting Coordinator Bonnie Dyson at 204-669-5830.
Support is only a conversation away.
